Bacon, Panetta, Klobuchar Host Presser on Resolution Condemning Russian Kidnapping of Ukrainian Children

 Washington– Reps. Don Bacon (R-NE-02), Jimmy Panetta (D-CA-19), and Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) hosted  a press conference to discuss their House Concurrent Resolution Condemning Russian Kidnapping of Ukrainian Children and the Senate companion. Since February 24, 2022, 16,226 Ukrainian children have been kidnapped from their homes by the Russian Federation, sent to reeducation camps, and then placed with Russian families. The Ukrainian families of these children are desperate to have them returned, or to even know if they are alive. They were joined by Her Excellency Oksana Markarova, the Ambassador of Ukraine and Andriy Kostin, the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.
